We had a wonderful experience at Roberta’s cooking class! Everything was really well thought out, with delicious recipes inspired by traditional Sicilian cuisine. You can really feel that this is a true passion project for Roberta, made with a lot of love. Really lovely few hours with Roberta and Ruud – we learned to make some good food which we then enjoyed on their terrance with a few glasses of lovely local wine. Very much enjoyed meeting the other guests – overall a wonderful way to spend a day, learn something new and meet some fascinating new people. Very, very pleased we did this and would thoroughly recommend.

What a wonderful and memorable cooking experience! Our hosts were incredibly entertaining, warm, and hospitable, and so generous with their time. They spent hours with us, teaching, cooking, sharing stories, and enjoying the meal together. Even with my ridiculous food allergies, they went above and beyond to accommodate me, and the food was absolutely delicious! What made the experience truly special was how personal it felt. We never felt like customers-we felt like welcomed guests sharing a meal with friends. Their passion for cooking and genuine hospitality made this so much more than a cooking class. It was a wonderful experience that i will remember and highly recommend!

This a true authentic experience you will not forget. So happy to be out in the beautiful countryside away from all the people and hustle and bustle. My cooking skills are completely non existent, but I still had a wonderful time. Roberta and Ruud were great hosts and so fun to just chill out with. Today we went to the countryside with friends, where we participated in a cooking class with Roberta. Everything was fantastic: the typical Sicilian house, the tables set with care, the recipes and flavours. We'll definitely be back.

Wat een enorm leuke kookworkshop waarin we verschillende heerlijke Siciliaanse gerechten hebben gemaakt! Wat was dit leuk om te doen. Roberta en haar man zijn ontzettend gastvrij en enthousiast. Een echte aanrader voor iedereen die het leuk vindt om meer over de Siciliaanse keuken te ontdekken en te koken in een heel persoonlijke en ontspannen sfeer.

Roberta and Ruud gave us a warm welcome. We immediately felt at ease. Outside there was a large table with aprons and all the necessities for the workshop. Roberta had come up with beautiful seasonal dishes for us. We were allowed to do a lot ourselves and Roberta supervised that very well. We learned a lot and ate deliciously. It was very cozy and we had a lovely dinner afterwards. The conversations went without saying, partly because Roberta speaks Dutch very well. It felt like we were sitting at the table with friends. In short, we had a wonderful day.

Roberta en Ruud gaven ons een warm welkom. We voelden ons onmiddellijk op ons gemak. Buiten stond een grote tafel klaar met schorten en alle benodigdheden voor de workshop. Roberta had mooie seizoensgerechten voor ons bedacht. We mochten heel veel zelf doen en Roberta begeleidde dat erg goed. We hebben veel geleerd en heerlijk gegeten. Het was ontzettend gezellig en hebben heerlijk nagetafeld. De gesprekken gingen vanzelf, mede doordat Roberta heel erg goed Nederlands spreekt. Het voelde alsof we bij vrienden aan tafel zaten.
Kortom we hebben een heerlijke dag gehad.

It was perfect. Exactly what I was looking for an authentic class not touristy. You get the real feel of life in Sicily. Roberta is excellent instructor, not only in show how to make the recipes but also providing a little background. The property was beautiful filled with Olive and fruit trees. Both Roberta and her husband were very accommodating and it was a special day for us

We had an amazing time with Roberta and her husband and loved every second of our experience with them. Roberta is extremely knowledgeable and we learnt so much about the traditional cooking techniques and flavours of the region. The kitchen spaces – both indoor and outdoor – were beautiful and Roberta created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We very much enjoyed our lunch with them! We would love to go back!

We followed a very nice cooking workshop with Roberta and her husband, where we learned to make various delicious Sicilian dishes. The workshop took place at their home, which created a personal, warm and cozy atmosphere. Because we followed the workshop with a small group, there was plenty of room for personal attention and a pleasant atmosphere soon developed. Afterwards, we were of course allowed to enjoy all the dishes we had made ourselves, while enjoying delicious Sicilian wines.

Wat leuk! Natuurlijk mag je deze gebruiken. Ik denk dat het juist erg leuk is wat meer foto’s van de cooking class op Instagram te zetten, hier kom je namelijk via de website ook uit en dan is het erg leuk om wat foto’s te zien van wat het inhoudt.

Wij hebben een ontzettend leuke kookworkshop gevolgd bij Roberta en haar man, waarbij we verschillende heerlijke Siciliaanse gerechten hebben leren maken. De workshop vond plaats bij hen thuis, wat zorgde voor een persoonlijke, warme en gezellige sfeer.

Doordat we de workshop met een klein groepje volgden, was er volop ruimte voor persoonlijke aandacht en ontstond er al snel een gezellige sfeer.

Na afloop mochten we natuurlijk genieten van alle gerechten die we zelf hadden gemaakt, onder het genot van heerlijke Siciliaanse wijntjes.

What a lovely activity to do on holiday… We experienced traditional Sicilian cooking in a rustic farmhouse kitchen, set in acres of beautiful countryside. Roberta was a delightful host to myself, my husband and our two daughters. After a warm welcome, we put on aprons and got to work on a tasty 3 course meal consisting of making fresh pasta and using fresh and locally grown ingredients. There was no time pressure and we all sat down and enjoyed the end result with wine to accompany the meal. Roberta speaks excellent English and has sent me the recipes so I can recreate at home. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Italian cuisine

Instant holiday feeling. It was exactly as I had hoped. We were received in a friendly and relaxed manner. My kids are 15 and 17, they really liked it.

What a pleasure to meet Roberta and her husband Rut who welcomed us with kindness and benevolence! Roberta had everything prepared and her organization allowed us to cook typical Sicilian dishes, herself Sicilian she gave us advice and shared her know-how. The place is magical, lost in the Sicilian countryside, however close to Noto , the road is beautiful and quiet. We had a great aperitif and shared with our hosts the fruit of our work, the wines were excellent and the digestives made by Roberta are delicious! As much for real cooks as the uninitiated, I recommend this activity that immerses us in Sicily and makes us meet beautiful people!!

Quel plaisir de rencontrer Roberta et son mari Rut qui nous ont accueillis avec gentillesse et bienveillance ! Roberta avait tout préparé et son organisation nous a permis de cuisiner des plats typiques de la Sicile, elle-même sicilienne elle nous a prodigué des conseils et a partagé son savoir faire. Le lieu est magique, perdu dans la campagne sicilienne, cependant à deux pas de Noto , la route est belle et tranquille. Nous avons eu un super apéritif et avons partagé avec nos hôtes le fruit de notre travail, les vins étaient excellents et les digestifs faits par Roberta sont succulents ! Autant pour les vrais cuisiniers que les non initiés, je recommande cette activité qui nous plonge dans la Sicile et nous fait rencontrer de belles personnes !!

I was lucky enough to enjoy a cooking class with my boyfriend at Roberta's. We were warmly welcomed and felt at home right from the start. Roberta catered to all my wishes – there was something with fish and the dessert contained chocolate. It is a cosy property where you immediately feel at peace. Everything was clean and nothing was missing. Roberta demonstrated everything and is good at explaining things – her programme left nothing to be desired. I would attend another course with her anytime! 🙂
